Brenda Hammer, Marin County Escrow Association President Promoted to Manager of CAL LAND Novato Office
NOVATO, CA, September 22, 2004
California Land Title of Marin announced today that Brenda Hammer has been promoted to Vice President and Manager of its Novato Office.
Brenda is a Senior Certified Escrow Officer, highly skilled in all types of real estate transactions,
including residential new home sales, re-sales, re-finances, commercial resale, construction loan
transactions and 1031 Exchanges. She began her career in 1989, working throughout Marin, Sonoma
and East Bay Counties. Brenda came to CAL LAND in 1992 working, in the San Rafael and Greenbrae
branches and moved to Novato in early 2003. In addition to her escrow desk, Brenda plays an active
role in the community and the Industry. She is currently the President of the Marin County Escrow
Association and represents the county on a state-wide level. Brenda is always "current" on the latest
escrow practices and changing laws that affect our business.

Patty Bennett will be act as Assistant Manager in the Novato office, specializing and focusing her
extensive experience base on subdivision sales and management. "Patty will continue to be as active as
ever in all her responsibilities and community involvement projects," said Mr. Bennett.
