CAL LAND's Fifth Annual Bocce Ball Tournament Raises $4,800 for Marin Athletic Foundation
SAN RAFAEL, CA, September 23, 2004
California Land Title of Marin proudly hosted their Fifth Annual Bocce Ball Tournament in San Rafael this past Friday and proudly announced that the event raised over $4,800 for the Marin Athletic Foundation. MAF provides financial support for sports and athletic programs of high quality and broad scope in the high schools of Marin. MAF's critical funding makes a significant difference in the school's ability to ensure a high level of participation by providing students with a wider range of safer and better equipped sports from which to choose from.
"On behalf of the kids and the entire MAF organization, we would like to thank CAL LAND and all those involved — this annual event is enjoyed and appreciated by players, sponsors and volunteers alike," commented Jeff Brusati, MAF Vice President. Mr. Brusati went on to say "Everyone had a great day of food, camaraderie and competitive fun! A community of friends, co-workers and clients coming together for a day of fun and charity is a joy for all of us — but especially the kids and schools who directly benefit from your generosity — our thanks to all of you!"
