SAN RAFAEL, CA (June 15, 2005) - On July 21st CAL LAND will celebrate its 50th year of business in Marin County.

Opening it's doors in July of 1955, with a small group of employees, CAL LAND has grown to 80+ employees and services clients in four locations throughout Marin; San Rafael, Greenbrae, Mill Valley and Novato. "It's hard to believe, in 1955 when we opened our doors for business the average price of a home was $10,950 - a gallon of gas only 23 cents and they lowered the Golden Gate Bridge tolls to 25 cents!" said Chuck Bennett, CEO.

The success of California Land Title of Marin is based in its commitment to quality employees and their dedication to providing superior service. As part of this commitment, they "get involved" in Marin and the industry, serving on many Boards and Commissions throughout in Marin and Sonoma counties. Individually and as a company, they sponsor and volunteer for numerous programs and events throughout Marin.
