SAN RAFAEL, CA (January 30, 2006) - Continuing in CAL LAND's spirit of giving back to the Marin Community, Charles Bennett, CEO was the Honorary Gala Chair of the Marin Breast Cancer Watch second annual "A Night with the Queen of Hearts" held this past Saturday night January 28, 2006 in the Mill Valley Community Center. The event was a festive gala that featured casino-style gaming, dancing and a silent auction that raised monies for the Marin Breast Cancer Watch.

"It is a great privilege for us to play a part in helping in the fight against breast cancer... it has affected and continues to impact so many of our friends, family and colleagues." said Mr. Bennett. The evening's festivities were a grand opportunity to celebrate life and honor several local individuals for their important work on behalf of Marin Breast Cancer Watch. "The support of so many has enabled the organization to continue their research into environmental causes of breast cancer and to host community educational programs on breast cancer topics of importance to our community." Mr. Bennett went on to say.

In addition to its corporate contributions and employee volunteer programs... each year, CAL LAND puts on several signature events including Bocce, Tennis and Golf tournaments, as well as a Holiday Gift Extravaganza for clients and colleagues. In 2005, these events raised over $12,000 for various Marin organizations including Adopt a Family, Marin Athletic Foundation, Marin Services for Women and Toys for Tots. "A community of friends, coworkers and clients coming together for a day of fun and charity is a joy for all of us... the reward is being able to further help the kids and families in our community" said Bennett.
