Northbay Family Homes Presents 2005 "Key in the Door" Awards to California Land Title of Marin's Novato Office

NOVATO, CA (November 16th, 2005) - Northbay Family Homes (NFH) honored California Land Title of Marin with the 2005 "Key in the Door" awards at it's Annual Dinner ceremony last Friday evening. Key in the Door awards are presented by NFH each year to recognize the achievements of outstanding individuals or organizations in the community. Emceed by KFTY Channel 50's Political Analyst Brian Sobel, this year's event celebrated the 27th year of operation for NFH while recognizing the achievements California Land Title team and the contributions they've made to the 351-unit Hamilton Meadow Park project.

"Cal Land has played a significant role in the success of our Meadow Park development," said Clark A. Blasdell, president and CEO of Northbay Family Homes. "Affordable home transactions of this magnitude are quite complex and we're fortunate to have had Cal Land on our team to surmount the challenges that have arisen during the 225+ Meadow Park escrows that we've closed to date."

While a typical home purchase may have one or two deeds of trust to record, Meadow Park homes can have up to five separate instruments that need to be signed and recorded to secure title to the property. Managing these intricate transactions is the Novato-based team from Cal Land including; Patty Bennett, Lauren Puliafico, Bobbi Bishop, Teresa Carlisle, Donna Varalli, Wendy Barnecut, Barbara Porritt, Janice Crouse, Thalassa Shank and Sonia Tanner.

"Not only does this Cal Land team do a tremendous job with these difficult transactions, they bring to the process a level of personal attention and commitment that buyers truly identify with," concluded Blasdell. "These awards are but a small token of our appreciation for Cal Land's daily contributions and extraordinary efforts to meet and exceed the expectations of Meadow Park buyers."
