CAL LAND hosts BUMPER CAR ECONOMICS with renowned economic speakers Ted C. Jones and Neil Hennessy



SAN RAFAEL (September 11, 2006) - California Land Title of Marin and Stewart Title of California are proud to bring to Marin County BUMPER CAR ECONOMICS, an economic seminar on Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the Four Points Sheraton in San Rafael featuring Ted C. Jones, Ph.D., Senior Vice President-Chief Economist for Stewart Title Guaranty Company and Director of Investor Relations for Stewart Information Services Corporation, NYSE-STC and Neil Hennessy, President and Portfolio Manager for Novato based Hennessy Funds. Jones and Hennessy will present a comprehensive analysis of leading economic indicators and an economic outlook for business and industry in 2007 in a lively debate and discussion. The event will be co-sponsored with the Marin Association of Realtors (MAR) and the North Bay Chapter of the California Association of Mortgage Brokers (CAMB).

Ted C. Jones, Ph.D. is the Director of Investor Relations and Senior Vice President-Chief Economist for Stewart Title Guaranty Company. Jones has a Ph.D. in finance and a master's degree in land economics and real estate. Prior to joining Stewart he served as chief economist at Texas A&M University's Real Estate Center, Ted also authored and taught the valuation and appraisal section of the Bachelor of Commerce in Valuation and Property Management at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand. An internationally recognized real estate expert, Jones has completed appraisals and property analysis in New Zealand, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the U.K and USA. Ted C. Jones' recognized specialty is applied real estate research and is a renowned industry speaker around the country.

Neil Hennessy is president and portfolio manager of Hennessy Funds, where he manages over $2 billion in assets in six no-load mutual funds. Each of the Hennessy Funds utilizes a time-tested, quantitative investment formula and is managed with unwavering discipline and consistency.
