This money was raised at Cal Land Title's Third Annual Bocce Ball Tournament & Picnic, which was held on September 20th at the Marin Bocce Ball Federation courts in San Rafael. The tournament was a great success and the money raised surpassed last year's total. Community Action Marin will use these proceeds to continue its work of fighting proverty in Marin. Community Action Marin (CAM) is a private, non-profit social service agency assisting low-income Marin residents in achieving a life of quality based on self-sufficiency. Serving Marin County since 1966, the agency currently operates programs covering a variety of needs from childcare and AIDS to energy assistance, family needs and mental health issues.
